BDL observes Yoga Day with enthusiasm and fervour

New Delhi: The 8th International Yoga Day (IDY) was observed in all Units and Offices of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) with lot of enthusiasm and fervour.

The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has given the theme, ‘Yoga for Humanity’ for this year’s International Yoga Day.  Adhering to Covid-19 protocol, CMD, BDL, Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd), Director (Technical) Shri N P Diwakar, Director (Production) Shri P. Radhakrishna, Director (Finance) Shri N. Srinivasulu, CVO Dr Upender Vennam, IPoS, senior officials and employees of the Company participated in the International Yoga Day - 2022 with enthusiasm and fervour. 

Extending greetings to employees of the Company and their families on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd), CMD, BDL stated that the theme, ‘Yoga for Humanity’ chosen by Ministry of AYUSH for this year’s International Yoga Day, depicts how Yoga has served the humanity world over in mitigating the sufferings of people both, during and the current post-covid period and developing resistance and resilience among covid affected people. He reiterated the benefits of yoga in one’s life and urged the employees to make Yoga as a way of life.

In order to sustain the motivation level of employees to adopt and practice Yoga, BDL has organized training sessions on yoga for employees of the Company. Banners were displayed at prominent places in all the Units / Offices of BDL to commemorate the 8th International Yoga Day.
