BEL received Special Jury Supplier Award from Thales

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited has received a "Special Jury Supplier Award" from Thales in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the offset and global supplies project of Thales.

Mr TN Singh, General Manager (Components)/Bangalore Complex, received the esteemed award for BEL from Mr Roque Carmona, SVP Group Chief Procurement Officer, at Thales' Helios facility near Paris, France.

As part of the offset commitments under the Rafale India contract and in alignment with the Make in India policy, BEL is proud to manufacture TR (Transmit/Receive) modules for the RBE 2 radar on the Rafale fighter aircraft.

The company mentioned, "We look forward to further enhancing our collaboration with Thales in other technological fields under the prestigious Make in India initiative by the Government of India."
