Shri Chacko M. Jose Appointed Head of BPCL Kochi Refinery
New Delhi, February 20, 2026: Shri Chacko M. Jose assumed charge as the Head of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) Kochi Refinery on 20 February 2026. In his new role as Executive Director, he will lead the operations of one of India’s largest public sector petroleum refineries.
Professional and Educational Background
Shri Chacko M. Jose is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Cochin University of Science and Technology.
With an illustrious career spanning over 35 years, Shri Chacko has garnered extensive experience across three major petroleum refineries in India. Over the course of his service, he has handled diverse portfolios including:
