CMD, RINL inaugurates new building at DAV,Ukkunagaram under CSR

NEW DELHI- At a function held at DAV Centenary public school at ukkunagaram township today, Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL inaugurated new building with 4 additional classrooms constructed at DAV Centenary Public School, Ukkunagaram under Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) Initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Atul Bhatt said that it gives him immense happiness that RINL Vizag Steel, as a Corporate Environment Management Initiative, constructed 4 additional Class Rooms at a cost of Rs. 60 lakhs would also facilitate DAV Centenary Public School to impart Quality education to 200 children additionally from this year onwards.  .

“RINL has always been giving prime importance for promotion of Education and Health and nearly 50% of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds were spent towards promotion of Education in the surrounding villages of Plant and Mines and in improving Educational infrastructure like additional class rooms, dual desk benches and Digital Class Rooms etc.”, Sri Atul Bhatt added.

Sri Atul Bhatt congratulated the Principal and staff of DAV centenary public school for giving equal importance to sports and academics. He congratulated students of DAV centenary school for cornering glory by winning laurels at National level in volley ball etc.

He urged the children to focus more on education to grow personally and also serve the nation.

It may please be noted that RINL’s approach to CSR has been to establish long term and sustainable initiatives, which continue to benefit the Community over the years.  Hence, RINL has been creating permanent assets initially by taking up infrastructure related projects i.e., Roads, Primary health centres, School buildings, hostels, community welfare centres and multi-purpose halls etc., which give long lasting benefits.  The focus areas for CSR include Education, Health Care, Skill Development, Environment care, Rural development, Sanitation etc.,

It may please be noted that RINL since inception laid utmost importance on societal and environmental concerns and has been in the forefront of addressing the societal needs of its business activities.

It is pertinent to mention here that RINL is celebrating Iconic week Celebration of Ministry of Steel from 4th July to 10th July 2022 as a part of AzadiKaAmrutMahotsav and the inauguration would be a befitting occasion during the celebrations for promoting education to take India to greater heights.
