Contractor`s Labour Information Management System Access Bay inaugurated at NTPC Bongaigaon
Shri Subrata Mandal emphasized that CLIMS Facility Centre has been developed for contract workers/associates as single-window clearance under one roof.
New Delhi: As an initiative towards facilitating smooth access to the plant for Contract Labours, the Contractor's Labour Information Management System (CLIMS) Access Bay which is a touchless face-recognition bio-metric system was inaugurated at NTPC Bongaigaon by Shri Subrata Mandal, ED, NTPC Bongaigaon today i.e., on 17.09.2021 in presence of Shri Ravinder, GM (O&M), Shri Umesh Singh, GM (FM and Maintenance), Shri D.P. Patra, GM (Operations).
Shri Subrata Mandal emphasized that CLIMS Facility Centre has been developed for contract workers/associates as single-window clearance under one roof. The Centre provides facilities like pre-requisites of CLIMS Gate Passes viz, Medical Clearance, Safety Training, and Biometric Capturing/HR Clearance which under one roof to make the Gate Pass process simple & hassle free.
Shri Arunashis Das, AGM (Projects), Shri A.K.Datta, AGM(TS), Shri V.K.Sharma, AGM (MM), Bairagi Charan Badu, AGM(ME), Shri A.K.Chawla, AGM (HR), Shri Shashi Shekhar, AGM (HR) along with team members of Human Resources Department and CISF were also present on the occasion.

The System is LIVE from today i.e., 17th September,2021 for seamless entry and exit of Contract laborers through CLIMS.
