NEW DELHI- Dr Shashank Goel, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, visited NLC India Limited, Neyveli, on 25.12.2022, to assess the safety practices and measures being followed in the Mines at Neyveli.
He was given a warm welcome by Shri K. Mohan Reddy, Director (P&P) & (HR) AC, NLCIL and Dr Suresh Chandra Suman, Director (Mines), NLCIL. Later, Dr Goel visited the NLCIL Mines.
He was accompanied by Shri B. Parivalal, Labour Enforcement Officer/Central, Shri Ramesh Kumar, Asst. Labour Commissioner/Central, Shri K. Vijayakumar, Director of Mines Safety (Mech.), DGMS, Southern Zone, Shri Nitin Raut, Dy. Director of Mines Safety (Mech.), DGMS, Southern Zone and Shri Mahesh Chatla, Dy. Director of Mines Safety, DGMS, Chennai Region during his visit to the Mines. Senior officials of the Human Resources (IR) and Safety Departments of NLCIL, participated in the discussions with the Additional Secretary on safety aspects in NLCIL Mines.
