GIC appoints V. Balakrishnan as Chief Financial Officer
The company added to cling Kfin Technologies as Registrar and share transfer agent of the board.
The Board of Directors in its meeting held have considered and approved the appointment of Shri V. Balkrishna, General Manager as Chief Financial Officer & Key Managerial Personnel of the Corporation in place of Smt. Jayashree Ranade, General Manager, CFO & KMP of the Corporation, will be retiring from the service on 30th April 2024.

Balkrishna. His terms of appointment have been recommended by the Audit Committee & Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) and approved by the Board of Directors.
Additionally, the company has informed that KFin Technologies Limited is appointed as Registrar and Share Transfer Agent of the Corporation effective from 1 April 2024.

Balkrishna is a Cost and Management Accountant, with a Certificate of Merit, from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is a postgraduate in law with additional qualifications of FIII and ACIII, London. He also holds degrees in ACMA, MIPA, and ACSI. He has been with the Corporation for the past 35 years and has worked in various sections of reinsurance and finance.
