Google Cloud appoints Rahul Sharma as head of APAC Public Sector Business

New Delhi: Rahul Sharma has been appointed as Google Cloud's Managing Director for public sector business in Asia Pacific, paving the way for the company's strategy and execution with government and education organisations.

The incumbent holder comes with over 30 years of experience in regional leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) APAC public sector business, AWS India and IBM, and his expertise lies in advocating technology for good with leadership extending to industry organizations.

He was also the Chair of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) IT & ITES Council from 2022 to 2023.
