Bank of Baroda Launches Phygital Branch in Jaipur, Opens New Branch at Akshaya Patra Temple

Jaipur, March 6, 2026: Bank of Baroda has strengthened its banking presence in Jaipur with the inauguration of a Phygital Branch on Kalwar Road and a new branch at Akshaya Patra Temple. The branches were inaugurated by Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar, Executive Director of the bank.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials including M. Anil, General Manager and Zonal Head of the Jaipur Zone. Other officials present included Atul Kumar Karn, Deputy General Manager (Business Development); Debashis Bakshi, Deputy General Manager and Regional Head, Jaipur Region; and Amit Kumar Tiwari, Assistant General Manager and Deputy Regional Head, Jaipur Region.

Focus on Phygital Banking

The newly launched Phygital Branch represents Bank of Baroda’s continued push toward digital transformation in banking. The branch blends physical banking infrastructure with advanced digital technology, offering customers a faster and more convenient banking experience.

The branch integrates self-service kiosks and digital banking facilities with in-person support from banking professionals. This hybrid model allows customers to complete routine banking transactions quickly while still receiving personalised assistance when required.

According to the bank, the initiative is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring a seamless and customer-friendly experience.

During the inauguration of the new branch at Akshaya Patra Temple, Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar interacted with customers and encouraged them to adopt digital banking solutions for improved convenience and efficiency.

A large number of customers and local residents attended the inauguration ceremonies, reflecting strong community engagement and interest in the bank’s expanding services.
