New Delhi: INS Kalinga and GITAM University have entered into an Understanding to collaborate on an assortment of projects aimed at advancing technological Innovation and enhancing security. This is being facilitated under an Addendum to the MoU between the Indian Navy, NWWA and GITAM University.
Read Also : IndusInd Bank Q1 FY25 results, net profit at 2% YoYThe Addendum was signed by Commodore Pradeep Patel, Commanding Officer INS Kalinga and Prof D Gunasekaran, Registrar of GITAM University, paving the way for a long-term Defence-Academia partnership between the two institutions.
The collaborative project will focus on Research & Development in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) for training, Drone Technology for Surveillance, Smart City Projects, Enhanced Energy & Power Factor Management, Non-Destructive Techniques for Civil Engineering Structures etc.
