IRCTC set to run India's first tourist train under Bharat Gaurav Train Project from Today

The train will cover states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. IRCTC mentioned the train's capacity of 600 persons.

New Delhi: Indian Railways is ready to start the IRCTC tourist train under the Bharat Gaurav Scheme, under which the citizens travel widely within the country and explore the wonders of India.

This tourist train will depart on the Shri Ramayana Yatra Circuit from New Delhi, also originate from Safdarjung railway station, and will cover the distance of approximately 8,000 kilometers between India and Nepal on the Shri Ramayana Yatra Circuit.

For pe person, the journey will cost around Rs 65,000.

The train will cover states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. IRCTC mentioned the train's capacity of 600 persons. 

The First ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train was flagged off from Coimbatore for the journey to Shirdi on June 15. These trains will provide theme-based service to the tourist and showcase India's rich cultural heritage and magnificent historical, natural scenic places.
