Northern Coalfields Limited Celebrates 40 Years
New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Mini Ratna company of Govt. of India on Thursday celebrated the 40th Foundation Day in all the projects and units including its headquarters. The 40th Foundation Day was started with garlanding the miner's statue and paying emotional homage to the labour martyrs during a programme held in the headquarter in the morning. NCL CMD, Shri B. Sairam hoisted the flag on this occasion as the Chief Guest.
During the function organized in Panjreh Bhawan premises, former CMDs of NCL, Shri A.K. Das, Shri S.V. Chaoji, Shri T.K. Nag, Shri B.R. Reddy, Shri P.K. were present as special guests. Sinha, NCL Director (Personnel) Mr. Manish Kumar, Director (Finance) Mr. Rajneesh Narayan, Director (Technical/Operations) Mr. Jitendra Malik, Director (Technical/Projects & Planning) Mr. Sunil Prasad Singh and Chief Vigilance Officer, NCL Mr. Pankaj Kumar, JCC members of Shramik Sangh - Mr. Ajay Kumar from CMS, Mr. Shyamdhar Dubey from BMS, Mr. Ashok Kumar Pandey from HMS, CMOAI General Secretary Mr. Sarvesh Singh were present. Also, General Managers and Department Heads of Headquarters and other officers and employees were also present.

On this occasion, CMD NCL expressed gratitude to the previous leaders for irrigating, blossoming and flourishing the company in difficult circumstances. He called upon Team NCL to move forward with mutual harmony
