Bihar: A three days workshop on Mushroom Cultivation for 51 women was organised under CSR initiative of Kanti from Demha; Birpur and Sain villages in Bihar.
Shri Debasis Sahu, HOP Kanti and Smt Suparna Sahu, President of Sanghmitra Mahila Mandal inaugurated the workshop. While inaugurating the workshop, Shri Debasis Sahu said, “This venture of mushroom cultivation would help a lot of casual and daily wage workers who have been forced to return to home due to a lack of livelihood options during this pandemic.
Given the limited availability of land in the rural parts of the country and limited opportunities, workshops like these open up possibilities for an additional source of income to farmers”. Speaking on the occasion, Smt Suparna Sahu stressed upon the importance of women in the society and the role they play in the society, which is why their empowerment is necessary.
