Prime Minister inaugurates 2 FMC projects of NCL
Andhra Pradesh: Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 2 First Mile Connectivity (FMC) projects of Coal India subsidiary Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. These projects, worth over Rs 1393.69 crore, include Coal Handling Plants at Jayant and Dudhichua OCPs, with annual coal handling capacities of 15 MT & 10 MT, respectively.

CHPs optimise the coal evacuation process by replacing road transportation with a mechanised and automated mode of transportation. These projects will facilitate environment-friendly and fast transportation of coal from Jayant & Dudhichua, the two mega mines of NCL.
