Ms. Rashmi Singh assumes charge as Director - Commercial at MOIL

Smt. Rashmi Singh was appointed as Director (Commercial) on the Board of MOIL Limited for a period from the date of her assumption of charge of the post till the date of her superannuation i.e. 31.05.2027.

New Delhi: Nagpur-based Miniratna state-owned manganese-ore mining company, MOIL Limited welcomes Ms. Rashmi Singh to the company as the new Director of Commercial on December 20. The company in its BSE filing states that the Ministry of Steel vide its order dated 18.12.2023 has appointed Smt. Rashmi Singh as Director (Commercial) on the Board of MOIL Limited for a period from the date of her assumption of charge of the post till the date of her superannuation i.e. 31.05.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Rashmi brings with her over 32 years of experience in varied areas of Sales and marketing of Steel in domestic sales as well as export markets. She has worked in different verticals of the marketing function, encompassing Production Planning, Sales, Policymaking, Market Research, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Trade-related matters, etc.

As Head of Coal Import Group, Ms Singh was directly responsible for the corporate procurement of Imported Coal which is a significant and critical input for Steel Making. She has been part of panel discussions at a number of national and international conferences/seminars on Steel and Coal.

She is a BSc (PCM) graduated from Canning College, Lucknow University MBA (Marketing)-Full time from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
