RBI withdrew internal circular for staff amends Unlock 4.0
New Delhi: On late Sunday the Reserve Bank of India withdrew an internal circular which invites the attention of the Regional Offices and the central office departments to the ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ for dealing with the positive cases of COVID-19.
Bank mentions that “It is reiterated that all employees with COVID-like symptoms or who have come in contact with a COVID-positive person either in the office or their family etc. should self-isolate themselves for the period prescribed by local authorities/Bank.”
The circular from the Human Resources Department of the Central Bank citing the order of MHA, mentioned the employees are directed to attend office.
It is also mentioned that the concerned person can take leave if they are unable to come office due to their conditions. The work from the home facility is only provided to pregnant women.
