S Jeyanthi gets Tenure extension as Director (HR) (Addl. Charge) of ITI Limited

New Delhi: The central public sector undertaking, ITI Limited today informed the extension of Smt S Jeyanthi as Director (Human Resource). The Ministry of Communications, Government of India in its vide order dated March 18, conveyed that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of the additional charge of the post-Director (HR) assigned to Smt S Jeyanthi, Director Productions for a further period of 01-year w.e.f 28.02.2024 to 27.02.2025 or till the regularly selected candidate joins the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Smt S Jeyanthi had initially joined the Board as Director HR (Addl Charge) on 28th February 2023 and was later appointed as Director Production w.e.f. 19th May 2023.

Smt S Jeyanthi started her career in ITI Bangalore Plant as an Assistant Executive Engineer in 1989 and thereafter held various positions in the Production area. Smt S Jeyanthi has rich experience of more than 3 decades of handling the Production of Telecom and allied products. Smt S Jeyanthi was promoted as General Manager-Production of Palakkad Unit in 2021.

Smt S Jeyanthi has successfully upgraded the Production facilities of the Bangalore Plant and executed prestigious orders for Defence and ISRO.

Smt S Jeyanthi is a B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamilnadu.
