Sainik School Nagrota Cadets clears UPSC NDA Exam

Nagrota: Thirty cadets from Sainik School Nagrota have cleared the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2023, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on September 3, 2023. This is a remarkable achievement, as the NDA written exam is one of the most competitive entrance exams in India.

Of the 30 successful cadets, 9 are from the current batch (2023-24) and 21 are from the 2022-23 batch of Class XII. These cadets will now appear for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, which is the next stage of the selection process for entry into the officer cadre of the Armed Forces.

Captain (IN) AK Desai, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, congratulated the cadets and the faculty for achieving this commendable feat. He highlighted the dedicated and sincere efforts of the cadets and the faculty, which have resulted in this remarkable performance.

The Principal also mentioned that Sainik School Nagrota provides an ideal grooming ground for cadets, developing them as balanced personalities through a variety of academic and co-curricular activities. He expressed hope that the qualities of mind, body, and character acquired by the cadets in the school will enable them to clear the SSB interview successfully.
