Senior IPS officer Anurag Kumar join as Joint Director of CBI
New Delhi: Senior IPS officer Anurag Kumar on Friday has been appointed to the post of Joint Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), according to a Personnel Ministry order.
According to CBI official data, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment as the Joint Director (JD) in the CBI for a tenure up to February 24, 2027.

Anurag Kumar is a 2004 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, currently working in the Bureau of Police and Development.
