WCL honoured with Paryavran Saathi - 2024 Award
New Delhi: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) was awarded the 'Paryavaran Saathi - 2024 Award' by The Institute of Engineers India , Nagpur Chapter . The award was given in a ceremony organized in Nagpur on 09.06.2024 , in the light of World Environment Day.

WCL stood second in the category of Environmental Reclamation & Sustainability Measures among the government departments and public undertakings working in the Vidarbha region.

At the ceremony, the award was presented to the Director of NEERI Dr. A. N. Vaidya It was presented by. General Manager (Environment) Shri A.K. Dixit received this award on behalf of WCL. Officers of the Environment Department were present with him.
