The portfolio now includes about 11,005.5 MW of solar, 1,978.7 MW of wind, and 2,556.6 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity. This strengthens AGEL's position as a leading independent renewable energy producer globally.

This achievement comes just 15 months after reaching 10,000 MW. It highlights quick project execution, driven by significant projects like the 30,000 MW renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat, which is expected to be the world’s largest of its kind.

When discussing the milestone, Ashish Khanna, CEO of AGEL, highlighted the importance of strong leadership and team commitment in making clean energy more scalable and reliable. This effort supports India’s aim of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030.

Key Highlights:

- Over 55 million solar modules and 1,177 wind turbines installed
- Generated about 3,700 green jobs
- Offsets around 28.6 million tonnes of carbon emissions each year, which is like removing 6.3 million cars from the road or planting 1.36 million trees
- Powers approximately 7.9 million households across 13 Indian states

AGEL also ranks highly in ESG performance. It is first on NSE’s ESG index for the power sector and first globally on FTSE Russell’s ESG score in the alternative energy category.
