Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalized a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat, further strengthening its position as India’s leading renewable energy company.

In a regulatory filing to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company said the project has been commissioned through its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited (AGE26AL).

Based on the receipt of relevant statutory clearances, the decision to operationalize the plant was taken at 10:49 a.m. on January 25, 2026, with power generation commencing from the same day.

Total Renewable Capacity Rises to 17,287.2 MW

With the commissioning of this 50 MW solar project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 17,287.2 MW, reinforcing the company’s leadership in India’s clean energy transition.

The Khavda project forms part of Adani Green Energy’s broader strategy to scale up renewable capacity across solar and wind power assets, aligned with India’s national renewable energy and sustainability goals.

The company stated that the disclosure has been made to keep investors and stakeholders informed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
