BCCL CMD Directs Higher Coal Dispatch from Key Sidings

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is taking focused steps to enhance coal dispatch to the power sector.

On 7 September 2026, CMD Shri Manoj Kumar Agarwal visited the BNR Siding of Kusunda Area and Burragarh Siding under Bastacolla Area.

Review of Operations

During the visit, the CMD reviewed ongoing coal dispatch operations and current requirements at both sidings.

He examined measures to increase dispatch capacity keeping in view the rising demand from the power sector.

Directions Issued

At BNR Siding, the CMD directed the team to immediately raise dispatch from the existing 2 rakes per day to 3.5 rakes per day.

At Burragarh Siding, he instructed the team to increase dispatch from 1.5 rakes per day to 2–3 rakes per day.

Focus on Efficient Evacuation

With continued emphasis on efficient coal evacuation and timely supply, BCCL is working to improve dispatch capacity.

These efforts aim to better meet the requirements of the power sector and support the nation’s energy needs.
