Critical Instructions for Bidders

  1. Vendor Approval: All items must be sourced from BHEL’s customer-approved vendors. Non-approved vendors must submit credentials for customer review; price bids will only open upon approval.

  2. Quality Assurance: Original Guarantee Certificates (18 months) and Test Certificates as per specifications/drawings are mandatory.

  3. BHEL Suvidha Portal: Successful Indian vendors must upload dispatch and invoice details on the BHEL Suvidha Portal prior to shipping.

  4. Breach of Contract: A recovery of 10% of the contract value may be made in case of a breach of contract.

  5. TPIA Inspection: While BHEL covers Third-Party Inspection Agency (TPIA) charges, penalties (visit charges) apply if re-inspections are caused by vendor lapses.
