New Delhi: The Bhoomi Poojan ceremony for the permanent campus of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was held at Khajuri Khas, Delhi, in the esteemed presence of Smt. Rekha Gupta, Hon’ble Chief Minister of NCT of Delhi, along with other dignitaries.

The new campus marks a significant step towards strengthening educational infrastructure in the region and providing modern learning facilities to students.

NBCC to Execute ₹47.80 Crore Project

NBCC (India) Limited has been entrusted with the construction of the permanent campus at an estimated cost of ₹47.80 crore.

The project will feature:

  • Total built-up area of 8,725 square metres

  • Capacity to accommodate approximately 1,520 students

  • Eco-friendly design

  • 4-Star GRIHA rating ensuring sustainable construction standards

Focus on Sustainable Education Infrastructure

The campus will be developed with a strong emphasis on sustainability and green building norms, aligning with India’s commitment to environmentally responsible infrastructure development.

The project is expected to provide state-of-the-art academic facilities while promoting energy efficiency and environmental conservation.

The new permanent campus at Khajuri Khas will significantly enhance access to quality education and support the growing student population in the area.
