Noida, March 2, 2026: Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has issued Vacancy Notice No. 08/2026 inviting applications for the post of Dy. CPM/PM (Mechanical) on deputation basis.

The positions are available at Ajmer and Ahmedabad locations.

Mode of Appointment: Deputation
Service: IRSME officers of Indian Railways
Tenure: 3 years (extendable up to 5 years, subject to DPE exemption)
Age Limit: Not more than 55 years (as on closing date)
Closing Date: 30 days from date of issue (02.03.2026)

Pay Scale

Selected officers will receive:

Parent pay plus deputation allowance
Applicable perks and allowances as per DFCCIL policy

Eligibility includes officers working in Level 11 to Level 13A (or equivalent IDA grades E4 to E6) depending on level such as AGM, JGM, or DGM.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

Must have on-job experience in Carriage & Wagon (C&W) Maintenance on Indian Railways.

Desirable Experience

Locomotive maintenance
DEMU/MEMU/EMU maintenance
Crew management
Disaster management
Monitoring and management of wayside equipment

Job Responsibilities

The selected officer will be responsible for:

Planning and monitoring enroute examination of IR rolling stock
Coordination with Indian Railways for crew operations on DFC network
Locomotive troubleshooting strategies
Restoration work during accidents or derailments
Developing emergency response systems
Deployment of AI-driven diagnostic technologies
Data analytics using DFIS, FMM, FOIS, SLAM and CMS systems
Maintenance and calibration of electronic weighbridge systems
