MRVC Recruitment 2026: Apply for Manager (Civil) Posts

Mumbai: Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has released Vacancy Notification No. 13/2025 for direct recruitment to the post of Manager (Civil).

The corporation is inviting applications from qualified and experienced civil engineering professionals to strengthen its project implementation team in the Mumbai suburban railway network.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management or relevant engineering field will be an added advantage.

Experience

Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.
At least 2 years’ experience in Suburban Railway Projects or Railway Projects.
Candidates working in PSU at IDA E2 (minimum 2 years) or E3 grade and above are eligible.

Age Limit

Maximum 40 years as on March 20, 2026.
Age relaxation:
- SC: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include:

Preliminary screening of applications
Document verification
Personal interview

If applications exceed five times the number of vacancies, shortlisting will be based on academic performance and experience.

Minimum qualifying marks:

60% overall
60% in Personal Interview

Final selection will be based on merit and total weightage out of 100 marks, including experience, additional qualifications and interview performance.

Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in IDA E3 pay scale (₹60,000–1,80,000) with applicable allowances such as:

Pay protection will be provided for candidates already working in E3 grade and above.

Probation and Service Bond

One-year probation period.
Candidates must execute a service bond to serve MRVC for at least five years after training/probation.
Failure to complete the bond period may require refund of training and salary costs with interest.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Manager (Civil) will handle:

Planning, estimation and tender documentation
Contract management
Construction of bridges, tunnels, station buildings, FOBs
PSC slab/girder works
Quality and safety supervision
Liaison with railway and state authorities
Arbitration and legal matters related to construction
