Cleanliness drive at Ranchi Railway Station by employees of NTPC Coal Mining HQ

New Delhi: With objective of creating community awareness on importance of cleanliness and sanitation, NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/NTPC Mining Limited, Ranchi as part of observing ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada-2024(May 16 to May 31,2024), today organized Swachhta Rally which was participated by Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining), Shri Animesh Jain, Head of the departments and employees and family members in large numbers. The rally commenced from its office campus and concluded at Ranchi Railway Station.

Later the employees participated in the cleanliness drive at the Parking Area of the Railway Station. To promote proper waste management distributed Dustbins to the street vendors near the Railway station & Hand sanitizers were also distributed by the Senior officials and employees as part of cleanliness fortnightly celebration. The initiative was possible with the active support of Ranchi Railway Station administration.

During the Swachhta Pakhwada celebration, NTPC Coal Mining HQ/NML is going to conduct more community cleaning drive activities at public places and organize street play /Nukad Natak to involve local community to promote “Cleanliness is the key to Good Health”
