CONCOR eases connectivity of Durgapur Rail-Linked Terminal with Private Freight Terminal

In a significant move for logistics excellence, state-owned CONCOR has been setting new standards in multimodal logistics, where the Durgapur Terminal features ample warehousing and direct rail and road connectivity, ensuring smooth cargo flow through the railway network and NH-19 highway. The terminal enjoys close ties with two key ports- Kolkata and Haldia- enhancing its ability to manage both import and export operations with ease.

As a dedicated private freight terminal (PFT), Durgapur Terminal handles 5 to 6 PFT rakes on average per month, reflecting its capacity and operational efficiency. (In the month of March, handled 8 PFT rakes)

Along with this, a new freight stream: has been launched from Durgapur, west Bengal (near Asansol -Burdwan) to CONCOR’s Domestic container terminal Phillaur, Punjab.
