DFCCIL Train Interchanges Cross 900, Reach 903 on Aug 30
Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) recorded 903 train interchanges with Indian Railways on August 30, 2026, taking the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) network past the 900-train mark once again.
Of the total 903 train interchanges, 484 were recorded on the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC), while 419 were on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).
EDFC Leads With 484 Interchanges
The EDFC accounted for the larger share of the day's train interchange activity with 484 trains, compared with 419 on the WDFC.
The latest milestone reflects the scale of train movement being handled across the DFC network and its connectivity with the Indian Railways system.
DFCCIL said the performance highlights the network's growing operational efficiency, capacity and seamless connectivity.
