EIL Women Leaders Share Powerful ‘Give to Gain’ Message on International Women’s Day 2026
New Delhi, March 8, 2026, Senior women leaders at Engineers India Limited (EIL) shared inspiring messages to mark International Women’s Day 2026, emphasising the theme “Give to Gain” and encouraging collaboration, mentorship, and empowerment among women in the workplace.
The leaders highlighted how sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and uplifting others can create stronger organisations and more inclusive professional environments.
Empowering Through Mentorship and Collaboration
Indrani Krishnan, Group General Manager (Process-1), noted that the essence of the theme lies in women’s natural ability to give—whether through support, mentorship, or sharing experiences. She emphasised that fostering a collaborative culture enables individuals and teams to grow together while strengthening the organisation.
Echoing a similar sentiment, Shalini Verma, Chief General Manager (PEM), reflected on her three-decade career in the oil and gas industry. She highlighted that when women guide and uplift each other through mentorship and collaboration, it drives innovation, stronger leadership networks, and lasting professional impact.
Building a Collective Community
Sadhna Singh, Chief General Manager (HTD), encouraged turning the theme into action by empowering fellow women and sharing experiences to create opportunities for collective progress.
Meanwhile, Surbhee Gupta, Chief General Manager (Project Controls), emphasised the importance of knowledge sharing and mutual support in creating an inclusive and thriving workplace culture.
Recognising the Legacy of Women’s Contributions
Reetu Khanna, Chief General Manager (Instrumentation), said the theme reflects the journey of women who continuously adapt and give their best in both personal and professional roles. She also acknowledged the contributions of women from earlier generations who broke barriers and paved the way for future leaders.
Sundaram Vallithai, Chief General Manager (ITS), highlighted that supporting colleagues and uplifting others strengthens workplaces and contributes positively to communities and the broader economy.
Celebrating Women’s Achievements Across Sectors
Shruti Agnihotriy, Chief Vigilance Officer at EIL, noted that women worldwide are steadily breaking barriers and shaping the future across diverse fields—from energy and defence to arts and technology. She stressed the importance of ethical leadership and continued commitment to building an inclusive environment where every woman has the opportunity to lead and succeed.
Through these messages, EIL leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a supportive ecosystem where women can grow professionally while inspiring the next generation of leaders.
