RailTel Secures ₹26.72 Crore OFC Network Project from South East Central Railway

New Delhi, 7 March 2026: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured a major project from South East Central Railway for the implementation of an Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, RailTel has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the project involving supply and installation of OFC infrastructure.

The scope of work includes supply, transportation, trenching, laying, backfilling, horizontal directional drilling, HDPE pipe insertion, blowing, jointing, and termination of optical fiber cables.

The estimated value of the order is ₹26.72 crore, making it a significant domestic contract for the company.

RailTel stated that the project is expected to be completed by 5 March 2027. The work order was received on 6 March 2026 at 20:30 hours.

The company also clarified that the promoter or promoter group has no interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not fall under related party transactions.
