Hindustan Petroleum issues debentures worth Rs 2,500 crores at 6.73 pc coupon rate

New Delhi: State owned Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has issued debentures of total Rs 2500 crores on private placement basis on 29 April.

As per the filing, we write to inform that the Company had issued Unsecured, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative, Taxable Debentures of Rs.1,00,000/- each aggregating to Rs. 2500 Crores on private placement basis on April 29, 2025 for funding of refinancing of existing borrowings and/or funding of Capital Expenditure of the Issuer, including recoupment of expenditure already incurred and/or for any other purpose in the ordinary course of business of the Issuer.

The date of the maturity of the instrument is 29 April 2030. The coupon rate of the debentures is 6.73 percent per annum.
