NCL Director (Technical) Reviews Khadia Area Operations and FMC Project ROB

Khadia Area, February 19, 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited Director (Technical), Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi, conducted a site visit to the Khadia Area today to evaluate ongoing mine operations and infrastructure projects.

The visit included a detailed inspection of the new Railway Over Bridge (ROB) under construction, part of the upcoming FMC Project, aimed at enhancing coal transport efficiency. The Director also reviewed sump preparations and other monsoon readiness activities to ensure operational safety and continuity during the rainy season.

During the visit, Area GM Shri K D Jain, the TS to DT(P&P), and senior project officials were present. Necessary guidance and instructions were issued to field teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and project timelines.

Officials highlighted that such inspections play a critical role in monitoring mine operations, preparing for seasonal challenges, and ensuring timely completion of key infrastructure projects.
