New Delhi: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL)’s top management including CMD and Functional Directors are continuously visiting the field to monitor the ground operation of the company in order to boost the coal production and dispatch of the company amid growing energy demand.


In this context, CMD NCL Shri P K Sinha visited the Central Workshop, Jayant NCL, and chaired a review meeting. CWS is a central facility of NCL which is responsible to cater the spare and sub-assembly needs for more than 1200 HEMMs running 24*7 in the coal mining field.

 

Director (Technical/Operations) Dr. Anindya Sinha Visited Nigahi Area, one of Megaproject of NCL, while Director (Finance and Personnel) Shri R N Dubey reaches Bina Project of NCL located in Uttar Pradesh, which also sends coal to upcountry coal consumers. Another Mega Project Dudhichua was visited by Director (Technical/Project and Planning) Shri S S Sinha. 

 

In order to ramp up coal supplies to dependent coal consumers due to the sudden upsurge in power demand of the nation,  the top management of NCL is going the extra mile to meet the national coal requirement removing any bottleneck on the ground level.

 

NCL is a pioneering Miniratna company of the government of India, ensuring energy security of the nation with more than 115MT coal output annually through its 10 highly mechanized and advanced opencast coal mines based out in Singrauli and Sonbhadra district of MP and UP state respectively.
