Eastern Coalfields Limited Floats 12 Tenders for Integrated Mining and Infrastructure Works
ECL Floats 12 Tenders for Underground Safety (Roof Bolts, Stoppings) and Infrastructure Works (Satgram/Salanpur)

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), a major subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has invited bids for 12 e-tenders to carry out essential projects in its Satgram Area and Salanpur Area. The tenders have two main goals: ensuring safety and stability in underground mining, and improving local infrastructure and operational logistics.
In the Satgram Area, which includes 8 tenders, the main needs are for important underground mining and safety projects. The deadlines for these are December 9 and 10, 2025. This work includes providing permanent roof support using roof bolts and installing new tracklines at Pure Searsole Colliery.
It also involves building multiple ventilation stoppings at Kalidaspur Project and J. K. Nagar Colliery. All these measures are vital for mine stability and gas management.
At the same time, there are civil works tenders aimed at community development, like building brick drains near Indira Colony and repairing roads and drains at the Kalipahari Group of Mines.
The Salanpur Area, which has 4 tenders, emphasizes electrical and maintenance updates, with bids due on December 11, 2025. Key projects include reorganizing power systems and installing Neutral Grounding Resistance (NGR) at Mohanpur colliery for electrical safety.
Other tenders focus on infrastructure maintenance, such as dismantling an 11KV overhead line and scheduling the cleaning of mud and dust from weighbridges at GBOCP and Gouarandi (A) Colliery over three months. This work will ensure accurate measurements for coal dispatch.
