NLC India Commissions Final Phase of 300 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan
New Delhi: State-owned Navratna PSU NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has successfully commissioned the third and final phase of its 300 MW solar power project at Barsingsar in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, marking a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion.
In a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company announced that the final phase, with a capacity of 141.17 MW, has been declared commercially operational with effect from January 24, 2026.
The Part Commissioning Certificate for this phase was received from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) on the same day.
Earlier Phases Commissioned in 2025
The project’s earlier phases had already commenced operations:

First Phase: 52.83 MW – operational from August 26, 2025

Second Phase: 106 MW – operational from November 2, 2025
With the commissioning of the final phase, the entire 300 MW solar project is now fully operational.
Renewable Capacity Rises to 1,766 MW
Following this development, NLC India Limited’s total installed renewable energy capacity has increased to 1,766 MW, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on clean and sustainable energy in line with India’s national renewable energy goals.
