NLC Subsidiary Wins 275 MW Battery Energy Storage Project in Gujarat

New Delhi: NLC India Limited has informed the stock exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), has emerged as the successful bidder for a major battery energy storage project in Gujarat.

NIRL participated in the tender floated by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) for setting up Standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding. The company has been selected for a capacity of 275 MW / 550 MWh.

Accordingly, NIRL has received a Letter of Intent from GUVNL for development of the project in the state of Gujarat.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
