New Delhi, February 13, 2026: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has officially invited bids for the 540 MW Wind Energy Project at ISTS Substation Anantapur-III in Andhra Pradesh (Tranche-II). This ambitious renewable energy initiative is part of India’s ongoing push to expand clean energy capacity and strengthen the national wind power infrastructure.

Why This Project Matters

The project will accelerate green energy adoption in Andhra Pradesh, generating clean, sustainable electricity while creating infrastructure for long-term renewable power integration. NTPC REL is seeking experienced bidders to execute a complete wind farm solution, including:

  • ALMM-listed Wind Turbines: Minimum 3 MW capacity per turbine

  • Comprehensive Civil & Electrical Works: Foundations, substations, internal roads, control rooms, and EHV transmission lines

  • Grid Integration: Full connectivity to Anantapur ISTS Substation-III with SCADA/SAS systems

  • Land & Approvals: Acquisition, Right of Way (ROW), and all statutory clearances

  • 10-Year Operation & Maintenance: Including all WTGs, substations, transmission systems, and mandatory spares
