New Delhi: State-run telecom infrastructure provider RailTel Corporation of India Limited has secured a major railway signalling project valued at approximately ₹35.54 crore, according to a regulatory filing made on Wednesday.

The company informed stock exchanges that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Dy. CSTE/P/CNB for executing a signalling modernization project under the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway (NCR).

Project Details

The order involves the provision of MSDAC (Multi Section Digital Axle Counter) systems and associated works, including suitable indoor alterations in EI/RRI/PI stations within the division. The scope of work is aimed at enhancing operational safety and efficiency in railway signalling systems.

RailTel stated that the project must be completed within 24 months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.

The estimated contract value, as per the LoA, stands at ₹35,54,82,968 (approximately ₹35.54 crore).

Execution Timeline

  • Work Order Receipt Date: February 18, 2026

  • Time of Receipt: 4:00 PM

  • Scheduled Completion: February 17, 2028

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. The company also clarified that neither the promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.

Strategic Significance

RailTel continues to strengthen its position in the railway signalling and telecom infrastructure space through such project wins. The latest order reinforces the company’s growing involvement in safety and digital modernization initiatives across Indian Railways.

The disclosure was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
