Rampur Hydro Power Station Sets New Generation Records in FY 2025–26

New Delhi: Rampur Hydro Power Station (HPS), a key hydropower project of SJVN Limited, has delivered its best-ever performance in its 11th year of operation, setting multiple new generation benchmarks.

Sharing the achievement, Shri Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), SJVN Limited, stated that Rampur HPS recorded its highest-ever third-quarter generation of 333.8352 million units, surpassing the previous record of 322.9499 million units achieved in FY 2021–22.

The plant also posted its highest-ever December generation, producing 73.7878 million units in December 2025, beating the earlier December record of 70.7607 million units set in December 2021.

Adding another milestone, Rampur HPS achieved its design energy target of 1,878 million units on 8 December 2025, the fastest since commissioning, improving upon the earlier record achieved on 15 December 2019.
