NCL to Provide Advanced Medical Equipment to Trauma Center Singrauli Under CSR Initiative
Mumbai: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening healthcare services in Singrauli through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
On Tuesday, in the presence of Gaurav Bansal, District Collector of Singrauli, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the General Manager (CSR), NCL and the Chief Medical and Health Officer of Singrauli. The agreement aims to provide modern medical equipment to the District Hospital-cum-Trauma Center in Baidhan.
CSR Project for Strengthening Healthcare
The CSR project was proposed by Rajesh Mishra, Member of Parliament from Sidhi-Singrauli, and forwarded to NCL by the district administration.
Under this initiative, NCL will supply state-of-the-art medical equipment to the district hospital and trauma center. The equipment will support several key medical departments, including:

Ophthalmology

Emergency and Trauma Services
The addition of these advanced devices is expected to significantly improve healthcare infrastructure and enable better treatment for critically ill patients in the district.
Administration Appreciates NCL’s Efforts
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Gaurav Bansal appreciated the efforts of NCL in strengthening healthcare facilities in the region. He stated that the initiative will play an important role in providing better and more accessible healthcare services to citizens of the district.
Meanwhile, Rajeev Ranjan, General Manager (CSR) of Northern Coalfields Limited, reiterated that the company remains committed to regional social development through its CSR programs.
