RCF Announces Promotion of Shri Ajit A. Thatte as General Manager (Urea), Thal Unit

Mumbai, March 2, 2026: Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF), a Government of India undertaking, has announced a change in its senior management. The company informed stock exchanges about the promotion of Shri Ajit A. Thatte as General Manager (Urea), Thal Unit, effective March 1, 2026.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

Shri Ajit A. Thatte holds a B.E. degree in Petrochemical Engineering from M.I.T., Pune, along with an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. He joined RCF’s Thal Unit as a Management Trainee in 1991 and brings over 34 years of extensive experience in plant operations and safety management.

Over the course of his career, Shri Thatte has worked in the Urea Plant as well as the Fire & Safety Department, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and safety standards at the unit.

RCF stated that the leadership transition reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening operational excellence and leveraging experienced professionals to drive growth in its core fertilizer manufacturing business.
