RINL Invites Bids for Conversion of Billets into Flats at Rourkela
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has invited bids for billet-to-flat conversion work at Rourkela, covering 6,000 MT yearly processing. Eligible re-rollers with their own mills can apply by 3 December 2025.

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has floated an open tender for the appointment of a conversion agent to process 90x90 mm billets into flats at Rourkela. The tender has been published on the Government of India e-Procurement portal.
The contract includes processing 500 MT per month and 6,000 MT annually, under a rate contract valid for 730 days. Eligible bidders must be re-rollers with their own rolling mills (leased units are not allowed) and a minimum production capacity of 10,000 MT per year, equipped to process semis into flats, structurals, rounds, and squares.
