Mumbai, February 6, 2026: NBCC (India) Limited has received the go-ahead from the Hon’ble Supreme Court to complete 16 stalled residential projects of Supertech Limited. This follows a hearing on February 5, 2026, in the case “NBCC (I) Ltd. vs Ram Kishor Arora & Ors.”, where the Supreme Court upheld the earlier order of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) dated December 12, 2024.
The NCLAT order mandates NBCC to complete 16 projects comprising 49,748 housing units across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Karnataka. The estimated construction cost of these projects is approximately ₹9,445 crore, which includes a 3% contingency. NBCC’s Project Management Consultancy (PMC) fee is fixed at 8%, including a 1% marketing fee.
NBCC had previously informed stock exchanges about the stay on the NCLAT order, but the Supreme Court’s recent ruling now clears the path for the company to move forward with the stalled projects. The detailed order from the Supreme Court is awaited and will be communicated in due course.
Deepti Gambhir, Company Secretary of NBCC, said the decision “marks a significant step towards ensuring timely completion of housing projects and protecting the interests of homebuyers.”
