WCL Nagpur Area Achieves Record Coal Dispatch of 106.19 Lakh Tonnes in FY26
Nagpur, March 2026: The Nagpur Area of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has achieved its highest-ever coal dispatch of 106.19 lakh tonnes in FY 2025-26, surpassing the previous record of 105.92 lakh tonnes recorded last year.
The milestone was reached with 18 days still remaining in the financial year, reflecting strong operational performance and efficient logistics management in the coal mining region.
Officials from the Nagpur Area expressed sincere gratitude to stakeholders and leadership for their continued trust and encouragement, acknowledging the collective efforts of employees and partners in achieving the record dispatch.
Western Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, plays a key role in India’s coal production and supply chain, contributing significantly to power generation and industrial fuel requirements.
