SECL Invites Applications for Translator (Trainee) OL Grade-III Posts; 4 Vacancies Announced

Bilaspur, March 14, 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has issued an internal notification inviting applications from its departmental employees for the post of Translator (Trainee) Official Language (OL) Grade-III. The recruitment will be conducted through an internal selection process for eligible employees currently working in the company.
According to the notification, four vacancies are available for the Translator (Trainee) OL Grade-III position under the approved manpower budget for FY 2025-26. The vacancies are subject to change depending on organizational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post, candidates must meet the qualification and experience requirements specified in the cadre scheme.
Key eligibility conditions include:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent with Hindi and English as subjects.

Preferred Qualification: A Government-recognized diploma in Hindi translation of at least six months duration will be given preference.

Service Requirement: Applicants must be permanent employees of SECL with at least one year of service in the company as of February 28, 2026, which is the cut-off date for eligibility.
Only candidates who studied both Hindi and English during all years/semesters of their graduation will be considered eligible for the selection process.

The selection for the Translator (Trainee) OL Grade-III post will be based on a written examination.

Candidates possessing a Government Hindi Diploma will receive an additional 5 marks.
To qualify, candidates from the General category must score at least 40% of the total marks in the written test.
