MumbaI: Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) announced the allotment of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) totaling ₹1,400 crore, marking a strategic move to strengthen its financial position and support future growth initiatives.

The company’s authorized Committee of Directors, through a resolution passed on 2 February 2026, approved:

  • 42,000 NCDs under STRPP1, valued at ₹420 crore, and

  • 98,000 NCDs under STRPP2, valued at ₹980 crore.

Each debenture carries a face value of ₹1 lakh, and the allotment is fully unsecured, redeemable, rated, and listed. Together, STRPP1 and STRPP2 (collectively STRPPS) form the total allotment of ₹1,400 crore.

The approval was granted at 12:50 PM IST, and the company has informed both the BSE and NSE for regulatory compliance.

This fund-raising move is aimed at enhancing HZL’s capital structure, enabling it to fund ongoing projects, maintain operational flexibility, and reinforce its long-term growth strategy in the mining and zinc production sector.
