Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), the Navratna defence electronics PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has invited online applications for 7 posts at its Panchkula unit — 1 Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT) in Electronics and 6 Technician C in Electronic Mechanic trade. Advertisement No. 2026-27/05/PK/EAT,T/002 was issued on June 11, 2026.
Posts, Vacancies and Pay Scale
Post 1 — Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT) Discipline: Electronics | Vacancies: 1 (EWS) | Pay Scale: ₹24,500 – 3% – ₹90,000 + allowances. EATs will undergo 6 months of training at a stipend of ₹24,000 per month. On successful completion and clearing the gradation test, they will be placed in the regular pay scale.
Post 2 — Technician C Trade: Electronic Mechanic | Vacancies: 6 (UR-1, EWS-2, OBC NCL-3) | Pay Scale: ₹21,500 – 3% – ₹82,000 + allowances.
In addition to basic pay, both posts carry DA, HRA, perquisites at 30% of annual basic pay, medical reimbursement, Group Insurance, PF, Pension, and Gratuity as per company rules.
Eligibility — Qualification and Age
EAT: 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering from a recognised institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for PwBD). Age: 18–28 years as on June 1, 2026.
Technician C: SSLC + ITI in Electronic Mechanic trade + 1-year apprenticeship with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), or SSLC + 3-year NAC Course in the relevant trade. Minimum 60% marks (50% for PwBD). Age: 18–28 years as on June 1, 2026.
Age relaxation: OBC (NCL) — 3 years | SC/ST — 5 years | PwBD — 10 years.
Important: Registration in Haryana Employment Exchange is mandatory for both posts. Registration must be valid and active as on July 2, 2026.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 150 marks — Part I: General Aptitude (50 marks) covering reasoning, numeracy, and general knowledge; Part II: Technical Aptitude (100 marks) covering discipline-specific questions. Minimum qualifying marks are 35% in each part for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/PwBD candidates. The CBT is tentatively scheduled for July/August 2026.
Application Fee
General, OBC (NCL), and EWS candidates must pay ₹500 + 18% GST = ₹590 via SBI Collect online. SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen are exempted. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
