RVNL Releases Shortlist for Executive Director (Civil) Post 2026

New Delhi, March 18, 2026: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna company under the Ministry of Railways, has released the status of applications for the Executive Director (Civil) post on an immediate absorption basis.

A total of five applications were received against the vacancy notice (Ref: 2026/RVNL/09-CIVIL dated January 24, 2026, and corrigendum dated February 25, 2026). After scrutinizing the applications against the prescribed eligibility criteria, Shri Ashutosh Gautam (DOB: 18.04.1969) has been found eligible for the interview stage.

Interview Process Details

The eligible candidate will be invited for an in-person interview before the duly constituted Selection Committee. Separate communication regarding the date, time, venue, and presentation guidelines will be issued.

Provisionally Not Eligible Candidates

The following candidates were provisionally found not eligible:

Shri Shaik Abdul Khadar Basha – Less than 4 years in E-8 grade and specific experience criteria not met.
Shri Sanjay Kumar – Working on contract basis.
Col. Sudeep Kumar Mishra – Working in Level-13; does not meet grade and experience criteria.
Shri Prashant Pathak – Less than 5 years of specific experience in execution of highway projects.

Provisionally not eligible candidates may submit representations with supporting documents by March 22, 2026. If no representation is received, provisional ineligibility will be treated as final.
